Italy is the treasure chest of one of the world’s most important artistic heritages, but it is also the country where thousands of precious archaeological artefacts are smuggled every year, constituting one of the largest illegal trafficking routes in the world.

The series tells the stories of these stolen masterpieces, sold just like any other goods and then, finally, rediscovered: the Euphronios Krater, the Morgantina Goddess, the Capitoline Triad, and the Assteas Crater are the protagonists of this real-life crime story.
