Animation and Archives
The main studio host acts as a puppeteer, evoking historical moments and bringing notable figures from the past to life by casting their silhouettes' shadows with an overhead projector. This narrative approach blends studio discussions with animated sequences and offers a production framework that can be replicated with different hosts in other countries. It involves sharing original scripts, graphic assets, illustrations, archival materials, and animations. TIWI’s team of illustrators and animators creates the animations, using a combination of digital painting and real projections of handmade silhouettes to achieve a distinctive visual style.
